My poem

By Kiana Harrison, year 9, Les Beaucamps School

Weak, starving and sad soldiers
Overrated, obnoxious feelings
Really want to come home now
Living in the trenches is awful
Dreaming of the life I will have when this is over
When will I come home?
Absolutely atrocious out here
Ridiculous home sick
1 year in and I’m still alive
